About Me

Welcome! I'm Cherylann, a dedicated and enthusiastic middle school math teacher with a passion for helping students unlock their full math potential. I earned my degree at Piedmont University in Georgia in Middle Grades Education with a minor in Mathematics and Social Sciences, graduating Cum Laude. For the past 5 years, I have been teaching middle grades math in California, building upon 4 years of experience in Georgia.

Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of working with struggling students and witnessing their remarkable transformations. I take great pride in my ability to connect with students who are facing challenges in math and provide them with the support they need to succeed. Many of my former students, who once struggled with math, have gone on to achieve significant improvements in their grades and develop a newfound confidence in their mathematical abilities.

Now, in addition to my classroom teaching, I am thrilled to announce that I am offering tutoring services. Drawing upon my experience and successes with struggling students, my tutoring sessions are specifically designed to address individual learning needs and bridge any knowledge gaps.
